Series 9235 Dry-Pit Submersible Solids Handling Wastewater Pumps

Yeomans Series 9235 dry-pit submersible solids handling wastewater pumps provide rugged construction and a quality, low maintenance, patented closed-loop cooling system. The unique “CLC” motor design eliminates the need for external water jackets and the problems associated with “sewage-cooled” designs.

  • Patented "CLC" (Closed-Loop-Cooled) Motor*
  • MODU-CAB® Cap & Cable System
  • IP68 motor protection
  • Motors designed and rated per NEMA MG-1 and IEEE standards
  • Capacities to 10,000 USGPM (2,271 m3/hr)
  • Heads to 300 feet (91m)
  • Temperatures to 187 F (90 C)
  • Pressures to 200 PSIG (1378 kPa)
  • Discharge Sizes from 4" (102mm) to 20" (508mm)
  • Solids (sphere size) to 6" (152mm)
  • Standard "Type 21" mechanical seals for low-cost and quick availability from local sources
  • "Solid-Block" seal ring design assures long life and reliability under upset conditions
  • Dual moisture detection probes to eliminate false alarms
  • Terminal Board cable connection for quick replacement of the cap/cable assembly
  • Epoxy-potted cable entry prevents moisture from entering the motor via the power/control cables
  • Thermal switches in motor windings for over-temperature protection
  • All sizes available with special pump-end materials of construction to meet the specific application requirements

* The Closed-Loop-Cooled dry-pit submersible motor design utilizes a patented cooling self-contained cooling system. Unlike many competitors’ designs, the "CLC" system does not utilize internal circulation of the dirty sewage water for cooling, thereby eliminating motor overheating and premature failure caused by clogged cooling passages. The need for periodic cleaning and flushing of cooling passages is eliminated.
